Question d'origine :

- Holley (IB) : "Ideas and weapons : exploitation of the aerial weapon by the United States during World War I" (New haven, Yales University Press, 1953, XVI, 222 pp)
- Sprout Harold and Margaret : "The rise of American naval power, 1776-1918" (Princeton University Press, 1939, XII, 398 pp).
- Harbord James G : "The American Army in France 1917-1919" (Boston, Little Brown, 1936)
- Mc Cormick Robert : "The Army of 1918" (New-York, Hancourt, Brace, 1920)
- Sims William S. : "The victory at sea" (Gardem City NY Doublebay, 1921)
- Danills Josephus : "Our navy at War" (Washington in Pictorial Bureau, 1922)
